"Let me see, what's your name, you careless old man? Izumi Masamune? Okay, since we just passed each other, I'll reluctantly deliver it for you. Sigh, being this careless will get me scolded by my boss." Nohara Shinnosuke, holding Izumi Masamune's ID card, chased after him in the direction Izumi Masamune had gone.

"Is this the place? Something feels off... Oh, I see it." Nohara Shinnosuke followed the direction and finally reached the end of a corridor, where there was only one room.

[Shin-chan Nohara saw Izumi Masamune, who, unaware that his ID card was missing, fumbled on the door a few times before entering the room.]

"Seriously, didn't they notice they'd lost something? Oh, this room looks so high-tech, much more advanced than what I see outside. Even the door lock is amazing," Shinnosuke Nohara exclaimed, admiring the colorful orbs flashing on the lock.

"I don't know the secret either. Oh, right." Nohara Shinnosuke took out his ID card, swiped it on the door, and the door opened with a beep.

"I'm coming in." Nohara Shinnosuke knocked lightly and then went inside.

The furnishings inside the room were much simpler than they appeared from the outside; they weren't as flashy as Shinnosuke Nohara had imagined.

"Forget it, I'd better go find Izumi-san first." Shinnosuke Nohara also lost interest after realizing the place wasn't as sci-fi as he'd imagined.

"How did I become an uncle? I look like I'm barely thirty, maybe twenty-nine or eighty at most. How am I an uncle?"

When Izumi Masamune saw Nohara Shinnosuke calling him "Uncle" repeatedly on the screen, he was momentarily off balance.

"Is this the place?" Shinnosuke Nohara asked as he entered one of the rooms.

Shinnosuke Nohara went inside and found several rotating mechanical rings.

[Nohara Shinnosuke only realized upon closer inspection that the surface was covered in spiderwebs and spiders.]

"So many spiders. It seems Uncle Izumi isn't here. I'd better leave."

37. Nohara Shinnosuke: I'd rather die outside, jump off this cliff, than like spiders.

Just as Nohara Shinnosuke was about to leave the room, he saw that all the rotating mechanical rings had stopped.

Then, for some reason, some of the spiders on top started falling off one by one.

Soon, Nohara Shinnosuke's head and body were covered with all sorts of spiders, large and small.

"Whoa!" Nohara Shinnosuke was startled by the sudden sight and frantically patted the parts of his body where the spider had fallen.

Then, Shinnosuke Nohara hurriedly ran out of the room filled with spiders and fled the place.

"Alright, Uncle Izumi, it seems you'll have to go get your ID card from your boss." Nohara Shinnosuke looked back at the room with lingering fear. He decided to just give it to Suzuki Sonoko; after all, Izumi Masamune was her employee.

Unbeknownst to Shinnosuke Nohara, a spider was still on his body and, taking advantage of his momentary lapse in attention, bit him on the back of the neck.

"Ah!" Nohara Shinnosuke cried out in pain, then reached behind his neck, grabbed the spider that had bitten him, and threw it away.

"From now on, I don't like spiders anymore." Shinnosuke Nohara uttered this "I'll change my mind" warning, knowing he'd soon come to like spiders and even call himself one.

"Is this spider the beginning of Shinnosuke Nohara becoming Spider-Man?"

Kitahara Iori looked at Nohara Shinnosuke, who had been bitten by a spider, and then looked at Imamura Kohei and said.

"I remember you're an expert in web scraping, so this must be something you've studied, right, that..."

"Huh? Your tone and expression are so disgusting."

Kohei Imamura looked at Iori Kitahara with a look of disgust.

"Oh, I see. You want me to get you one, don't you?"

Kohei Imamura also realized something and looked at Iori Kitahara, as if to say, "So, you've finally got to beg me like this one day."

"That's impossible, and I don't think you're suited to be Spider-Man; you're better suited to be Beer Man."

"Tch, you think I wanted to? I mean, why is it this Shinnosuke Nohara who's playing Spider-Man on the screen, instead of the famous reptile scientist Kohei Imamura?"

Kitahara Iori's expression immediately changed as she spoke.

"Hmph, that's because I haven't made my appearance yet. When the time comes, Nohara Shinnosuke will be the ordinary Spider-Man, and I will be the ultimate Spider-Man."

Although Kohei Imamura himself didn't know why the Spider-Man mentioned in the light screen wasn't him—after all, the light screen said it was him who researched it—he wouldn't say that just because he saw Iori Kitahara's face.

Kohei Imamura clearly doesn't realize that he's not Spider-Man but a villain.

"Shin-chan, why are you so slow?" Kazama Toru said, looking at Nohara Shinnosuke who had caught up.

"Oh my, is Xiao Che so eager to be with me? He's really impatient."

"But I still need to part ways with you for a little while, don't miss me." Nohara Shinnosuke said, taking Izumi Masamune's ID card and walking towards Suzuki Sonoko.

"Miss Suzuki, here you go." Nohara Shinnosuke handed over Izumi Masamune's ID card.

"Hmm? Oh, thank you." Sonoko Suzuki turned around and took the ID card from Shinnosuke Nohara.

"Alright, now that you're back, we're heading to our next destination. Everyone, prepare to go." Sonoko Suzuki put Izumi Masamune's ID card into her pocket and then addressed the group.

"Shin-chan, what did you hand to Ms. Suzuki? It wasn't a love letter, was it?" Masao Sato asked curiously.

"What?!" Ai Sootome, standing nearby, was completely taken aback upon hearing the word "love letter."

"It should be an employee ID card from the Suzuki Group. I saw it by chance just now. Besides, Ms. Sonoko Suzuki is a married woman, you know," said Tomoyo Daidouji, who was standing nearby.

"Masao, really, why do you always bring up your little schemes in my name? Sigh, it's really worrying," Nohara Shinnosuke said, feigning helplessness.

"I didn't have any ulterior motives," Sato Masao said, immediately catching his tongue after Nohara Shinnosuke's comment. His face instantly turned red, not for any other reason than that he had had this habit for a long time.

"Eh, isn't it because you need to go to the bathroom but are too embarrassed to say so?" Nohara Shinnosuke, of course, wouldn't play by the rules.

"How did you get onto the topic of going to the toilet?" Kazama Toru was somewhat speechless, but since they had spent time together, he was quite used to Nohara Shinnosuke's erratic thought process.

The entire tour of the Suzuki Group was quite short, lasting only a morning and a little afternoon.

"Alright everyone, that concludes today's trip. I hope to see you all at the Suzuki Group in the future. Goodbye then." Sonoko Suzuki turned and left after saying this. Of course, she didn't need to go to work or anything; she just had her own things to do, like shopping.

"Ugh, I feel so dizzy. Should I take a shower? It must be because of that spider." Nohara Shinnosuke limped home, his tone sounding strange.

Because Kazama Toru had other business to attend to and the others weren't going that way, only Nohara Shinnosuke was there.

"I think I need to take a short nap." Shinnosuke Nohara, having boarded the subway, fell asleep instantly, leaning back in his seat.

"It's starting to take effect. His body must be mutating. Is he going to turn from an ordinary person into Spider-Man?"

Yagami Light guessed, looking at Nohara Shinnosuke's appearance on the light screen.

Since there was no one next to him, Shinnosuke Nohara slumped back onto the seat with a thud.

The shopkeeper next to him, having finished shopping, looked at the unconscious Nohara Shinnosuke and, after thinking for a moment, decided not to wake him.

A chilled drink peeked out from a shopping bag full of items. Because of the drink's low temperature, water vapor in the air condensed upon contact with the cold, and tiny water droplets adhered to the bottle.

Then, the small water droplets gathered together and became a large droplet, which slowly slid down the bottle onto the shopping bag. Finally, the droplet, unable to withstand the pressure, dripped onto Shinnosuke Nohara's forehead.

Just as the water droplet was about to touch Shinnosuke Nohara's forehead, Shinnosuke instantly woke up, leaping from his seat to the roof of the subway car where he clung firmly.

38: Nohara Shinnosuke: This...this isn't right.

"Did you see that? Without any leverage or any other movement, he just pounced up and got stuck."

Kazuma Sato watched as Shinnosuke Nohara jumped directly onto the top of the carriage through the light screen and said...

Previously, in Zhuge Cong's main arena, Nohara Shinnosuke only made a brief appearance and didn't perform much.

Shinnosuke Nohara was also completely bewildered, wondering how he ended up on the roof of the train car. The others in the car were equally confused, wondering how this person had suddenly jumped up to the roof and gotten stuck there.

"Whoa!" Then, Nohara Shinnosuke felt the suction in his hand disappear, and he uncontrollably fell to the ground.

Just then, the subway arrived at the station, and Shinnosuke Nohara got off without even looking back. After all, he didn't feel comfortable staying on the train after what had happened.

"What just happened to me?" Shinnosuke Nohara was still completely bewildered as he walked out of the subway station.

"This place again, never mind." Nohara Shinnosuke looked around and found the place somewhat unfamiliar, but it didn't really matter.

Shinnosuke Nohara leaned against a road sign, then took out his phone to check the map.

"Okay, looks like it'll be pretty late when I get back. I'd better text my mom first." Shinnosuke Nohara looked at his location, realizing he'd not only gotten off at the wrong station, but to make matters worse, he'd boarded the wrong subway in the first place.

[“Huh?” After sending the message, Shinnosuke Nohara put his phone back in his pocket and found it stuck to his hand.]

[Shin-chan tried to use his other hand, only to find it stuck to a road sign.]

With a slight effort, Nohara Shinnosuke ripped the road sign off.

Shinnosuke Nohara stared blankly at the road sign in his hand.

The pedestrians around were stunned to see a guy holding a road sign.

Shinnosuke Nohara forgot about his phone and tried to remove the road sign from his hand, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get it off and instead broke it in two.

Shinnosuke Nohara, in a fit of rage, dropped one section of the trail marker and, clutching the other still stuck to his hand, ran frantically, attempting to escape this dangerous place.

Nohara Shinnosuke felt his body become unusually strong and he ran incredibly fast, unaware that he was now faster than some cars.

"Wow, did you guys see that? This guy's speed is ridiculously fast."

Rainbow Dash was stunned by the speed of Nohara Shinnosuke displayed on the light screen. Her magic enhanced her speed, but compared to Nohara Shinnosuke's speed, she was much slower.

However, what Rainbow Dash didn't know was that later on, her magic development speed would be able to overwhelm Nohara Shinnosuke.

"I see. Obviously, you're not as fast as him. Maybe you could try getting bitten by a spider; perhaps you could become just as fast."

Applejack said.

"Let's forget about getting bitten by a spider."
