"Rather than that, I'm more curious about the situation of Zhuge Cong, the boss of the Zhuge Group. He's been missing for two whole months, and the media says he's dead." Li Xiaolang was clearly more interested in Zhuge Cong's whereabouts.
"Nobody knows for sure, but the chances of someone surviving after being missing for two months are extremely slim." Kazama Toru shook his head, indicating that for a living person to remain missing for two months, especially someone with Zhuge Cong's flamboyant personality, the probability of something happening to them was too high.
"So, does Tomoyo know anything?" Nohara Shinnosuke asked, looking at Daidouji Tomoyo. After all, the Daidouji family held such a high position that they might know quite a bit.
"Unfortunately, nobody knows whether Zhuge Cong, who has been missing for two months, is alive or dead," said Daidouji Tomoyo, shaking her head.
"This timeline suggests that the Spider-Man story takes place during the period when Zhuge Cong was missing."
L was holding his dessert and watching the story unfold on the screen. If there wasn't anything interesting enough to attract his attention, the screen was the best way to pass the time.
"See you tomorrow, Toru." Time flew by, and it was time to leave school in the afternoon. After saying goodbye to Toru Kazama, Shinnosuke Nohara walked home alone.
"You're back," Shinnosuke Nohara said familiarly as he returned home.
"Welcome back." Shinnosuke's mother, Misae Nohara, no longer tried to correct Shinnosuke's verbal tic.
"Where's Aoi?" Shinnosuke asked, not seeing his younger sister.
"She's out shopping with her classmates and won't be back for a little while, so dinner will be a little late too. If you're hungry, you can have some snacks first," said Misae Nohara, who was busy in the kitchen.
"Hesitant." Nohara Shinnosuke picked up a box of bear-shaped cookies and started eating.
"Hmm, this stuff still tastes so good after all this time," Shinnosuke Nohara exclaimed.
"I'm back." Nohara Shinnosuke had just finished a box of bear-shaped cookies when Nohara Himawari returned.
"Oh, Kui, unfortunately, we're out of bear-shaped cookies."
"Who wants to eat that kind of stuff? But you, bro, have been eating it for so long and you still like it this much?" Nohara Himawari said.
"Sigh, I'm not like you, Xiao Kui, who's fickle and easily bored. I'm very loyal."
"Eh~ really?" Nohara Himawari's expression clearly showed disdain.
"Xiao Kui's back! Wash your hands and get ready for dinner."
"Where's Dad? Did he go out for another business dinner?"
"Yeah, let's ignore him and get ready to eat."
"Oh, right, Mom, don't bother preparing lunch tomorrow. We're going to visit the Suzuki Biotechnology Group, so you won't have to trouble yourself." Nohara Shinnosuke remembered what Kazama Toru had told him that morning.
"I guess Shinnosuke Nohara's transformation into Spider-Man started from this Suzuki Biotechnology Group."
Hikigaya Hachiman said.
"What if it isn't?"
Kazuma Sato said he's gotten used to being marginalized and doesn't care what happens to him.
"Then it's not, what more do you want?"
Hachiman Hikigaya looked at Kazuma Sato and said, "If not, then he'll jump off here?"
"Welcome to Suzuki Biotechnology Group. I am also your tour leader for this visit, Sonoko Suzuki."
"Boss, this Suzuki Sonoko looks just like Sherry."
Vodka looked at Sonoko Suzuki, who had removed her headband, in the light screen and said.
"They do look alike, but it's not Sulli. It's amazing that two people can look so alike."
Gin sighed, realizing that if he hadn't known she wasn't Sherry, he probably would have already been ready to draw his gun.
"I remember Sonoko Suzuki is the second daughter of the Suzuki Group, right?" Toru Kazama whispered, looking at Sonoko Suzuki.
"It's probably because of Daidouji Tomoyo that he came to greet us personally," Yamazaki Takashi guessed.
"Alright, remember the rules I just mentioned, or there will be terrible consequences," Sonoko Suzuki instructed.
[Then Sonoko Suzuki led the group into a laboratory, and a blond man with a missing arm emerged.]
"Hello, Dr. Imamura," Sonoko Suzuki greeted the visitor.
"Welcome, I'm Dr. Kohei Imamura," Kohei Imamura greeted the crowd with a nod.
"Is Professor Toru Kazama really that amazing?" Shinnosuke Nohara asked Toru Kazama quietly.
[“Some of you may know me, some may not, so let me give you a detailed self-introduction. Okay, I am a scientist who studies web crawlers, and I am one of the leading authorities in the field. I have been dedicated to the study of web crawlers for a long time. Do you know why?”]
"Because reptiles possess powerful vitality and regenerative abilities, I hope to use cross-species genetics to help patients suffering from incurable diseases recover to health," Kohei Imamura declared to the crowd, outlining his grand vision.
"Um, Professor, I have a question." Shinnosuke Nohara raised his hand to ask.
"What's the problem?"
"If I successfully have a reptile gene transplanted, like a spider's, will I grow several legs and shoot spider silk?" Shinnosuke Nohara asked curiously.
"Good question, but I can't give you a very precise answer yet, because this experiment hasn't actually been carried out before. So, perhaps you can ask me again after I succeed," Kohei Imamura said, looking at Shinnosuke Nohara.
"Beep beep beep beep."
"Alright, I have to go now, so I'll have to say goodbye for now." Kohei Imamura took out his phone, glanced at it, and then gave everyone an apologetic smile.
"Alright everyone, let's go now," Sonoko Suzuki said to the group.
"Hey, Che, if I successfully cross species with a spider, do you think I'll become Spider-Man?"
"I can't really answer that. Maybe eight spider legs will sprout from your back, and your face will be covered in compound eyes."
36: Izumi Masamune: How did you become an old man?
"Hiss, tsk, hiss hiss hiss, tsk tsk tsk."
"Hey, what do you mean by looking at me like that and then making weird and disgusting noises?"
Kohei Imamura couldn't stand Kitahara Ichi's strange look and the disgusting sounds she made from time to time.
"I was just wondering how someone like you, a nerdy anime fan, could become a web crawler scientist, and an authority on it at that."
Kitahara Ichi looked puzzled and incredulous as he spoke, after all, he really couldn't understand how a guy like Imamura Kohei, who was a drunkard, a fan of anime, and had blond hair, could become a doctor.
"Hmph, do you think I'm like you? I'm not what you think. Actually, I'm quite a genius."
Kohei Imamura himself didn't know how someone like him could become an authority in the world of crawlers, but that didn't stop him from taking this opportunity to brag about it.
"This is a biological tree depicted by the Suzuki Bio Group based on life on Earth," said Sonoko Suzuki, as a holographic projection shone down.
"Wow!" Shinnosuke Nohara exclaimed in amazement as he looked at the projected tree of life.
"That's so cool!" Sato Masao also looked quite surprised.
"Hey, it seems like the only animals projected here are reptiles." Kinomoto Sakura looked down and realized that only reptiles were being projected; there were no other animals.
"Perhaps it's because Suzuki Bio-Group's main research focus is on reptiles, which is why the projections are of reptiles and not other animals," Tomoyo Daidouji said after a moment's thought.
"Shin-chan, do you really like spiders?" Ai Sootome asked, standing next to Shin-chan.
"No." Nohara Shinnosuke didn't understand why Otome Ai thought he would like spiders.
"Shin-chan doesn't like spiders, Shin-chan likes elephants," said Toru Kazama, who was standing nearby.
"Elephant, why?" Ai Sootome couldn't understand why Shinnosuke Nohara liked elephants. After all, Shinnosuke didn't like spiders, so shouldn't he like dogs too?
"Hehe, it's better if you don't know, or let Shin-chan tell you himself." Kazama Toru didn't know what to say, since when he said Nohara Shinnosuke liked elephants, he was referring to Nohara Shinnosuke's peculiar elephant dance.
"Elephant dance, what kind of dance is that?"
The nine members of Muse, who were resting instead of rehearsing, were also watching the light screen.
Meanwhile, Enoka Kousaka, the leader of the muses, was very curious about what this elephant dance was, as she had never heard of it before.
"I don't know, I haven't heard of it."
Minami Kotori shook her head and said.
"Don't the birds know either?"
Takasaka Enoka then looked at the others, but when asked about the elephant dance, they simply shook their heads, indicating they didn't know.
"Alright, everyone, please follow me to the Reptile Museum, which houses all sorts of amazing reptiles from around the world." Sonoko Suzuki's words interrupted Ai Sootome's follow-up questions.
"Um, Ms. Suzuki, is there a restroom? I'm about to need to use it," Shinnosuke Nohara asked Sonoko Suzuki while everyone was looking at the reptiles.
"The toilet is just outside this room. Go straight, then turn left, then right, then left again. But you'd better hurry!"
"Okay, I'll be right back." Nohara Shinnosuke said, then quickly walked out.
["Straight, left, left, right, left."]
"Straight, left, left, right, left, here I am!" Nohara Shinnosuke muttered the route Suzuki Sonoko had just told him, and quickly arrived at the restroom.
"Mmm, that feels good. A little shake after using the toilet, and I'll live to ninety-nine!" Nohara Shinnosuke said while washing his hands.
"Oops, sorry." Just as he stepped out of the restroom, Nohara Shinnosuke bumped into another man in a suit, and both of them fell to the ground.
"It's alright, it's alright. You're a student visiting today, right?" the man in the suit said as he stood up.
"Yes, I'm a student visiting today."
"Then you'd better not linger too long, or you'll fall behind." The man in the suit said this before turning and leaving.
Just as Nohara Shinnosuke was about to return to his team, he saw a card on the ground.
"This must be that old man's card. He was so careless, dropping it on the ground. Luckily, I saw it, otherwise someone with ill intentions might have picked it up," Nohara Shinnosuke said as he picked up the card.
