Chapter 451: Name of tribe and city
Chapter 451: Name of tribe and city
"Thank you."
She looked at him.
"For helping me with this. Telling me this information. "
Isabel gently shook her head. "You don’t need to thank me."
Her voice remained warm. "You also brought important information to us."
Then she smiled softly.
"So don’t worry too much."
Amon relaxed slightly hearing that.
"By the way can I ask you something?" Amon wonder if she would answer his question.
"Sure. What is it?"
"Do you know the name of that ancient city? Also the tribe from which you got that book from."
Isabel nodded. "Morveda, that was what that tribe was called as, it was ancient and powerful one at that time I guess. About the city you asked. It was known as Kalvetra."
Amon nodded at the weird name of city. "Thanks again for sharing this."
Afterward Isabel carefully closed the ancient book before standing up from the couch.
"Now then."
She looked toward him calmly. "Let’s leave this place. There’s nothing else here.."
Amon nodded before standing up as well.
Together they walked back through the hidden archive room.
Amon glanced around one last time.
The place truly felt ancient and mysterious.
Almost like it carried secrets forgotten by the world itself.
Soon Isabel led him back toward the hidden stone door.
After stepping outside, she placed her hand against the wall again.
The hidden entrance slowly closed before once more becoming nothing more than an ordinary bookshelf.
Amon still looked amazed. "...This Academy really has strange things hidden everywhere."
Isabel chuckled softly. "Arcadia Academy is far older than most people realize."
Then she began walking away from the library.
Amon followed beside her quietly. The library had become calmer now since evening was slowly approaching.
Warm orange sunlight entered through the windows beautifully.
As they walked through the corridors again, Isabel finally spoke, "You should rest today."
Amon looked toward her.
"You might be missing dorm room."
Her silver eyes softened slightly. "So go settle into your dormitory properly first."
Amon nodded. "Yeah."
Honestly...
Now that things had calmed down slightly, exhaustion was finally starting to hit him mentally.
He had spent months surviving on a dangerous island.
And after returning, everything had happened one after another.
Training, traveling, questions, reakthrough and meeting everyone again. It all felt strangely overwhelming now that he thought about it.
Soon they reached a split in the corridor. One path led toward the Headmistress Office. The other toward the dormitory registration area.
Isabel stopped there.
"I’ll return to my office now."
Amon nodded respectfully
"Thank you again, Headmistress."
She smiled gently.
"Welcome back to Arcadia Academy, Amon."
For some reason...Hearing those words made Amon smile genuinely.
It truly felt like he had finally returned home.
Then the two parted ways.
"Huh headmistress!! Is professor Adelia at Academy right now?"
"Hm. Yes she is. She came just few days ago."
Isabel turner and walked gracefully toward her office while Amon headed toward the dormitory section happily.
He was excited to meet hsi professor Adelia.
As he walked through the familiar Academy halls, countless thoughts filled his mind.
Baital and Vetaal.
The ruined city.
Ancient tribes.
Life force.
Possession.
Everything felt connected somehow.
And deep inside. Amon had a strange feeling. This was only the beginning.
---
After parting ways with Headmistress Isabel, Amon walked through the familiar Academy corridors toward the administration building.
The evening sunlight shone through the massive glass windows of Arcadia Academy, illuminating the polished marble floors beautifully.
Students and staff moved throughout the halls calmly.
Some students glanced toward Amon curiously.
After all, rumors about his return had already started spreading through the Academy.
The boy who had disappeared on a dangerous island for months had suddenly returned alive.
Of course people would talk about it.
But Amon ignored the gazes completely while walking casually with both hands inside his pockets.
Soon he entered the large administration building.
Inside, multiple counters lined the spacious hall while Academy staff worked behind them. Papers floated magically through the air from desk to desk while enchanted crystals glowed softly around the room.
Several students stood in line handling schedules, room assignments, and Academy matters.
Amon walked toward one of the counters. The same one where he had come with Selena and Seraphina.
This time a middle-aged woman wearing formal Academy robes looked up from her desk.
The moment she saw him, her eyes widened slightly.
"Oh... you are Amon Vale, correct?"
Amon nodded.
"Yes."
Her expression softened immediately.
"It’s good to see you returned safely. I was informed about you by other staff members. They have filled your information for second year."
Amon smiled lightly.
"Thank you."
The woman quickly searched through several floating documents before taking out a new Academy identification card.
"This is your new student ID for second year. Princess Selena had informed me about yiur rank."
She handed it toward him.
Amon took it curiously.
The black crystal card looked far more refined than his previous one.
Silver markings glowed faintly across its surface while his information was engraved clearly upon it.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Name: Amon Vale
Year: Second Year
Class: Class A
Rank: Master
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Amon stared at the last part for a moment.
Master Rank.
Even now it still felt slightly unreal.
A small grin slowly appeared on his face. Not long ago he had been the weakest student in Class A.Now he had already reached Master Rank.
The staff woman continued speaking politely.
"Your dormitory room has also been reassigned since second-year students receive upgraded rooms."
Then she handed him another small crystal key.
"Room 507."
Amon nodded. "Thanks."
However before he could leave, the woman suddenly spoke again.
"Oh right."
She looked toward another male staff member nearby. "Can you guide him to the storage section?"
The man nodded immediately. "Of course."
Amon blinked in confusion.
"Storage section?"
The staff member explained while walking toward him.
"Your belongings from your first-year dormitory room were moved into storage after your disappearance."
Amon immediately understood.
"Oh... right."
Honestly he had completely forgotten about that.
Soon the male staff member guided him downstairs through another section of the administration building.
Eventually they reached a large storage room filled with countless shelves and boxes.
The man checked several labels before finally stopping near one section.
"Here."
Amon saw a few storage boxes containing his old belongings.
Mostly clothes.
Books.
Some training items.
And random personal things from his first year.
A strange nostalgic feeling hit him for a moment.
It honestly felt like years had passed instead of months.
The staff member looked toward him.
"You can take your belongings now."
Amon nodded.
"Thanks for helping."
Without wasting time, he touched the boxes one by one before storing them inside his spatial ring.
After that he left toward dormitory buildings.
