Seeing Cassia stunned for a moment, the nun stopped asking, "This bag contains some stones engraved with runes."

"What are the effects of these runes?"

Black Jeanne waved her hand and erected four walls of fire to block the sight of the nun, Valeera, and Cassia.

Under Hei Zhen's precise control, the flames formed bird patterns, question mark and arc patterns, and crown patterns.

"Other types have complex patterns. I can only make out those runes, which number in the dozens. Each rune has two or three stones."

"The stone the nun gave Cassia is a rune stone."

"A single rune stone still has a certain amount of magic power. But I can't use the magic power in the rune stone."

"Runestones can only exert their unique and powerful effects when embedded in grooved armor or weapons in a certain order."

"What if the remains of Y'Shaarj don't belong to the undead creatures? What should we do?"

"After your weapon is inlaid with this set of 'Enforcer' runes, there is a 1 in 5 chance of using the fifteenth-level aging skill when attacking. The aging skill can break the physical immunity of the otherworldly hateful demon king Mephisto."

"The nun who provided the rune stone deceived us. The nun is most likely a demon in disguise."

Black Zhen, with a serious face, held Bronk's hands and said, "Nuns don't have the same sacredness as a certain saint who calls herself a sister."

Bronk felt a chill as he recalled the nun using blood to strengthen unidentified mages and warriors.

"Since Valeera is unwilling to share the runestone, neither of us will tell her the critical information about the Sister."

Having made the decision, Bronk removed the soundproofing barrier. "Black Zhen's unauthorized inspection was indeed inappropriate. I've already reprimanded her."

Obviously, Valeera and the nun did not believe Blanck's words.

"Valeela, you got the magic map from the Brotherhood assassin, right?"

"What? Why is Bronk bringing this up now?"

"Black Jane and I use special magic to further strengthen the magic map. The strengthened magic map should be able to withstand the spell to resist mental erosion."
