Shinichi Kudo keenly noticed that Yuki Takada's breathing rhythm had become extremely regular, and his hand holding the gun was as steady as a rock.

The first shot, a plastic training bullet, arced through the air and struck the sand about ten centimeters below the bottle.

Miwako Sato sighed, "See, Yuuki? This training equipment only has an effective range of about ten meters."

Yuki Takada did not respond, but simply adjusted the angle slightly.

The second shot hit five centimeters in front of the bottle.

The third shot hit the bottle three centimeters to the left.

After each shot, Yuki Takada would make subtle adjustments, as if he were calculating something.

Shinichi Kudo suddenly understood: "He's calculating the trajectory and wind force!"

Sure enough, the fourth shot hit the plastic bottle squarely with a crisp sound.

The fifth shot...

The sixth shot hit its mark, and the bottle bounced twice on the beach.

Ran Mouri clapped in surprise: "That's amazing!"

Sato Miwako stared at Takada Yuuki in disbelief: "You...when did you learn this skill?"

Yuuki Takada put down his training gun, his expression turning serious: "Every night after you get off work, I go to the training ground to practice for three hours, and I've been doing this for a while now."

He walked over to Sato Miwako, shook her hand, and said softly, "I chose firearms shooting because of Section Chief Matsumoto's orders, so I had to master it. But you are different from me, so you can naturally choose to do what you are good at."

Shinichi Kudo noticed that Miwako Sato's eyes were glistening with tears, but she held them back.

Chapter 104 Where Shinichi Kudo is, there will always be a case.

“That day on the Shinkansen train…” Miwako Sato whispered, almost inaudibly.

"Don't worry, the Mishima family has been completely eradicated, and that kind of situation will not happen again," Takada Yuki said firmly.

Just then, Shinichi Kudo's attention was drawn to something unusual on the beach.

Not far from them, a man in a gray coat was pretending to take pictures, but was actually clearly observing Yuki Takada and Miwako Sato.

When he realized that Shinichi Kudo had noticed him, he quickly turned and left.

"Shinichi, what's wrong?" Ran Mouri noticed Shinichi Kudo's distraction and asked casually.

"It's nothing," Shinichi Kudo replied, but a sense of unease rose in his heart.

The man's actions were too deliberate; he didn't seem like an ordinary tourist.

Yuki Takada seemed to notice something as well; his gaze swept around, and his expression became alert.

Shinichi Kudo noticed that his hand had unconsciously moved to his waist again, even though there was no gun there.

“We should go back now,” Sato Miwako suddenly said, noticing the change in Takada-senpai’s demeanor. “Thank you for your help, Kudo-kun, Mori-kun.”

Yuuki Takada nodded, but his eyes still warily scanned his surroundings: "Yes, thank you. Perhaps we will meet again someday."

Just as the two were about to leave, Shinichi Kudo suddenly spoke up: "Officer Takada, if someone is in danger, your police officers will help, right?"

Yuuki Takada stopped and turned to look at Shinichi Kudo seriously. "Of course, anytime. Why do you ask?"

Shinichi Kudo pointed to a group of figures approaching in the distance: "Those people don't look right. They've been loitering around here for about ten minutes now, and they're heading this way. Also, I noticed a suspicious bulge under one of their jackets."

Yuki Takada and Miwako Sato exchanged a glance and instantly switched into professional mode.

Shinichi Kudo noticed that their stance had subtly changed, becoming a position where they could both attack and defend.

"How many are there?" Yuuki Takada asked simply.

“Five, no, six,” Shinichi Kudo replied, “one of them came around from the right.”

Sato Miwako tilted her head slightly to confirm, and whispered, "Takada-senpai, are they coming for us?"

“Uncertain. As of now, we don’t know their purpose,” Yuuki Takada replied, then whispered to Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri, “You two, slowly retreat behind those rocks. No matter what happens, don’t come out.”

Ran Mouri nervously grabbed Shinichi Kudo's arm: "Shinichi, should we go find the teacher?"

“Leaving now would be more dangerous,” Shinichi Kudo calmly analyzed. “In my opinion, it’s best to do as Inspector Takada says.” He pulled Ran Mouri back carefully toward the rocky area, but kept in a position where they could observe the situation.

The six people had already surrounded them.

The leader was a burly man with a noticeable scar on his face.

"Yuki Takada?" the scarred man asked directly.

Yuuki Takada replied expressionlessly, "Who are you? I don't recall ever seeing you before."

The scarred man sneered, "I've heard you're a good shot. How about hand-to-hand combat?"

Shinichi Kudo noticed that although these people were dressed in civilian clothes, their actions were coordinated and orderly, making them seem more like a trained team than ordinary thugs.

He quietly took out his phone and started recording.

Miwako Sato stepped forward: "We are police officers. Please state your purpose immediately, otherwise it will be considered a threat to law enforcement."

The scarred man laughed loudly: "Police? Perfect. That's exactly what we're looking for." He then made a gesture, and the other five men quickly spread out, forming an encirclement.

Yuuki Takada sighed, "Sato, it seems our trip to Odaiba Seaside Park will have to end early today."

At that very moment, things happened so suddenly.

The scarred-faced man suddenly lunged at Yuuki Takada, while another man pounced on Miwako Sato from the side.

Yuki Takada dodged the attack by sidestepping and delivered a precise chop to the attacker's neck.

The other person staggered backward, clearly not expecting Takada Yuki's reaction to be so swift.

Sato Miwako's side was even more clean and efficient, throwing the attacker to the ground on the beach with an over-the-shoulder throw, and then pressing down on the opponent's back with her knee.

“Four more,” Yuuki Takada said calmly, his gaze sweeping over the remaining opponents. “Who wants to be next?”

Shinichi Kudo observed from behind the rocks, clearly shocked by the skills of Yuki Takada and Miwako Sato.

Their every move is efficient and precise, without any unnecessary fancy techniques; it is purely practical combat technique.

Scarface roared and charged at Takada Yuuki again.

The other two also launched an attack at the same time.

Yuuki Takada dodged the incoming attacks with a series of fluid and graceful movements.

Shinichi Kudo noticed that even when facing multiple opponents simultaneously, Yuuki Takada maintained a steady breathing rhythm and calmly assessed each threat with his eyes.

Miwako Sato also faced two opponents, but she was clearly handling them with ease, even having time to keep an eye on Yuki Takada's situation.

"Takada-senpai, to the left!" she suddenly called out.

Yuki Takada turned to the side almost simultaneously, avoiding the sneak attack from the left.

He seized the attacker's arm and executed a clean joint lock, causing the attacker to scream and fall to his knees.

In less than two minutes, all six attackers were subdued on the beach.

Yuki Takada's breathing didn't even become too rapid.

“Now…” Takada Yuuki stepped on the scarred man’s back, his voice as cold as ice, “You can tell me… who sent you? What is your purpose?”

The scarred man gritted his teeth and remained silent, but a strange smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Yuuki Takada frowned, about to press for further questioning.

Shinichi Kudo suddenly emerged from behind the rocks: "Officer Takada, he has a miniature communication device in his ear canal."

All eyes immediately focused on the scarred face's ears.

Sure enough, a tiny metallic reflection could be faintly seen deep inside the right ear.

Sato Miwako quickly crouched down to examine it, her expression changing: "It's a special-grade item, still in the transmission state."

Yuki Takada immediately realized something and abruptly looked up and around.

On the distant seaside viewing platform, a mirror-like reflection flashed by.

"Sniper!" Yuki Takada shouted, lunging at the nearest woman, Miwako Sato.

Almost simultaneously, the bullet whistled through the air and struck the scarred man precisely in the chest.

Blood bloomed into a strange flower on the beach.

Shinichi Kudo's heart pounded as Ran Mouri abruptly pulled him back to the rocks.

He clearly saw that the bullet came from the exact opposite direction.

"It's not the observation deck!" Shinichi Kudo shouted. "It's towards the parking lot on the west side!"

Yuki Takada had already dragged Miwako Sato behind another rock, his face grave.

The remaining five attackers began to stir, attempting to take the opportunity to escape.

Miwako Sato swiftly and cleanly handcuffed the two most recent attackers together.

But in the end, the two of them still crashed directly into the reef.

“Senior Takada, this is clearly someone trying to silence us and prevent us from knowing their identity,” she whispered. “It seems that this group of people were already prepared to die.”

Yuuki Takada nodded, his sharp gaze sweeping across the west parking lot: "They're clearly planning to get rid of these people."

Before the words were even finished, the lingering echoes of the sniper rifle shots seemed to still reverberate in the air, and the beach was filled with an atmosphere of bloodshed and tension.

Miwako Sato quickly called an ambulance. Although the blood blooming on the scarred man's chest had already signaled the end of his life, she still thought she could try to save him.

In the midst of this deathly silence, a piercing scream, filled with terror and pain, suddenly pierced the relative tranquility of Odaiba Beach from the direction of the park's green space.

This sound is...

Shinichi Kudo shuddered, his pupils suddenly contracting.

He was so focused on the battle and the sniper crisis that he almost temporarily ignored his surroundings.

But that scream was all too familiar; it was—

"It's Date-sensei!" Ran Mouri's face turned deathly pale instantly. She gripped Shinichi Kudo's arm tightly, her nails almost digging into his skin.

That was the scream from their class's supervising teacher!

"Oh no!" Shinichi Kudo's heart sank suddenly, and an extremely ominous premonition gripped him.
