Hogwarts and the Atypical Wizard

Chapter 351: Meeting before school starts

Chapter 351: Meeting before school starts

On this day, Professor McGonagall wrote to Sainz and told him that she needed him to go visit her. He suddenly realized that the summer vacation had passed without him noticing.

He came to Professor McGonagall's office, "Good day, Professor McGonagall, ah, you are here too, good day, Professor Sprout."

"Come and sit down," Professor Sprout greeted him warmly.

"You look well, Professor. Try some of the tea I made myself."

Sainz placed the tea in his hand on Professor McGonagall's desk, sat down next to Professor Sprout, and said to her, "I have prepared your portion as well. I will send it to you later."

Professor Sprout is cheerful every day. After hearing what Sainz said, he said happily, "You can make black tea yourself, Sainz. You always surprise people."

As they were talking, Professor Flitwick came in and said in a shrill voice, "You are here already. I am late?"

"No, Filius," said Professor McGonagall, "please sit down somewhere."

"Good day, Professor Flitwick, how are you doing recently?" Saiens waved his hand and a chair moved in front of Professor Flitwick.

"Thank you Sainz, I'm fine, I had a good rest over the holidays," Flitwick climbed up the chair with difficulty.

Sainz discovered that these wizards didn't usually use magic for everything they did, maybe it was just a personal habit.

Flitwick would rather climb up with difficulty than use magic to make it easier for himself.

If it were Sai, he would definitely let the chair fall down, climb up on it himself, and then restore it to its original shape.

Everyone has their own habits, he did not comment.

Professor Flitwick stood on a pile of books during class. He was definitely capable of building a safe and convenient auxiliary structure for himself, such as a platform or something, but he didn't.

Sainz once thought about making an automatic ladder or something as a gift for him, but then he thought about it and gave up.

Since Professor Flitwick could easily solve his dilemma, he must have his reasons for choosing not to deal with it. If he rashly gave him an auxiliary device, it might be regarded as mocking the other person's height.

After Professor Flitwick sat down, another black figure came in from outside the door. "Hello, Severus, you're here." Professor Flitwick greeted him warmly.

Snape nodded without saying anything, pulled a chair over and sat on the other side.

"Okay, everyone is here," Professor McGonagall sat up straight, "Tomorrow is September 1st, and the students will return to school. Do you three deans have anything special to say?"

"No, Minerva," Professor Flitwick squeaked.

"As long as," Snape said slowly, "the great Mr. Potter does not go wrong, I don't think we will have anything to be particularly careful of."

Hearing his words, Professor McGonagall tried not to sigh, but she still turned to Professor Flitwick and said, "Filius, if, I mean if, I have other things to do and cannot get away, I hope you can preside over the sorting ceremony on my behalf, as usual."

"Haha, no problem," said Professor Flitwick cheerfully, "I'm happy to help."

"Pomona, what's up?"

"Um... no," Professor Sprout thought for a moment, "I just hope this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts professor doesn't teach me how to heal the Whomping Willow or something."

Sainz thought of Professor Sprout who was made angry by Lockhart, and he felt happy. Lockhart really deserved to die. It had been several years since the robbery, but Professor Sprout was still frightened.

Professor McGonagall's face darkened, as if she had thought of something bad. "Speaking of the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, this year's professor was not invited by Dumbledore."

“Is this an unsolicited application?” Professor Sprout said. “That’s good.”

"I'd like to say you're right, Pomona," said Professor McGonagall, "but alas, you're not."

"What's going on?" asked Professor Flitwick.

"They were sent by the Ministry of Magic. The Ministry of Magic felt that the school needed some changes..."

"That's not right, Minerva, is it?" said Professor Sprout doubtfully.

"Yes, Pomona," said Professor McGonagall, "Under normal circumstances, that is true. The headmaster has the right to decide who to invite as a professor, but it is different now. After what happened in June, the Ministry of Magic and Dumbledore no longer agree on their ideas..."

"It must be very difficult for him right now," said Professor Sprout sympathetically.

"Don't worry, Pomona," Professor McGonagall said soothingly, "Don't worry, I believe he can handle it. We support him by ensuring that students learn the knowledge they need."

"Who is it?" Snape asked grimly.

"what?"

"Who is this guy from the Ministry?"

"You know her, Severus, you know her, it's Dolores Umbridge."

Snape nodded grimly without saying anything.

The other two professors seemed to know each other, and Professor Sprout said somewhat unexpectedly, "That woman is not easy to deal with, Minerva."

Professor Flitwick said, "Perhaps she came on a mission?"

"I know," said Professor McGonagall. "They seem to be looking for some evidence."

Several people nodded. It was easy to understand. Considering the current tense relationship between Dumbledore and Fudge, it was normal for the people sent by the Ministry of Magic to want to cause trouble for Dumbledore.

Professor McGonagall said, "We don't need to worry about Dumbledore's affairs. We just need to ensure that students can attend classes normally... Then... if the deans have nothing else to do, you can go back first. Sainz, you stay for a while."

The other three left one after another. From a distance, they could still hear Professor Flitwick telling Snape that he had traveled to other countries during the holidays. Snape did not reply, but just nodded in agreement.

Professor Sprout said: "It's great that you can travel around, unlike me. Those naughty guys in the greenhouse are so clingy."

Professor Flitwick smiled and said, "That's because I can't bear to leave them alone. Nothing will happen to them even if I leave them alone for a week..."

"Sainz."

"You left me alone, what are your plans?"

"Yes, Sainz, as you know, Hagrid has left temporarily for something."

"Oh, I see. You want me to take over Hagrid's job and guide the new students."

"Yes, it's not complicated. All we have to do is lead the students by boat from the Black Lake... The students might be a little nervous when they come here for the first time..."

"I know Professor, I have a good relationship with the merpeople in the Black Lagoon, nothing will go wrong."

"Okay, you've walked the specific route before, so I won't tell you."

"Okay, no problem Professor, leave it to me!"
