Hogwarts and the Atypical Wizard

Chapter 283: Three Powerful Gatherings

Chapter 283: Three Powerful Gatherings

On the morning of the 30th, Sainz was drafted again.

"Professor McGonagall, you're looking for me?"

"Assistant Coach Autumn, the representatives of the other two schools will arrive this evening, and we will need your help in maintaining discipline."

"No problem, Professor. I think the students will understand the seriousness of the situation."

Professor McGonagall's mouth twitched, but she didn't respond, probably because she didn't agree with him. He could imagine in his heart that Professor McGonagall had long been numbed by the students of her college.

Sainz decided to talk about something else to change her mood. "The locations for the other two academies have been chosen, and the creatures in the Black Lake have been pacified. Is there anything else that I should pay attention to?"

Professor McGonagall seemed to be in a better mood at this point. "Before this, I didn't know you knew the language of mermaids."

"When I first entered school, I bought a book called 'Mermaids: A Comprehensive Guide to Language and Habits' as an extracurricular extension. It contains the language of mermaids. I have practiced it briefly when I had nothing to do, but I have never spoken to them. It happened that I met the principal last time and communicated with them, so I chatted with them for a few minutes."

As Sainz spoke, he secretly thought that he had made a mistake. He didn't expect that he accidentally showed off his abilities in front of Old Deng and was drafted by him. In the end, he even threw the job of communicating with the fishmen directly to him.

Professor McGonagall talked to Sainz about nothing serious, she just gave him some private instructions, asking him to keep an eye on the students and not let them cause trouble and bring shame to the school.

At six o'clock in the afternoon of that day, the students were gathered in the entrance hall. The deans of the four colleges organized the students of their respective colleges to line up. Sainz couldn't help but sigh in his heart that even in the wizarding world, the competition to give other schools a "good impression" still exists.

Of the four houses, Gryffindor was definitely the one that made the most fool of itself. Students from the other three houses had already led their teams to the castle gate, but Professor McGonagall was still scolding them helplessly.

"Weasley, put your hat on!

Miss Patil, take that ridiculous thing off your head!"

Parvati Patil frowned unhappily and pulled a large butterfly headdress out of her hair.

Everyone lined up in front of the castle. The air was very fresh and cold in the evening of late October. The students were able to remain quiet at first, but after being frozen for a long time, they became a little impatient and began to whisper.

"How do you think they'll come?"

"Will you come by train?"

"Of course not. If they were taking the train, they wouldn't have kept us waiting here..."

"Yeah, I guess it flew over."

"Broomstick?"

"I don't think so. It's a bit too far..."

"It can't be Apparition, or a Portkey?"

"That's even more impossible. Apparition is not allowed in Hogwarts."

"That's not necessarily true. Can't we temporarily lift the restrictions during the Apparition class? Maybe it will be the same this time?"

"But I don't think so. I still think it will fly over..."

As everyone was waiting, the sky gradually darkened and the surroundings gradually became quiet. Suddenly, a voice came from behind the crowd. It was Dumbledore.

"I think the Beauxbatons delegation has arrived, if I'm not mistaken!"

"Where, where?" The students began to look around.

"There!" Adam spotted the target with his sharp eyes and pointed to the sky above the Forbidden Forest.

There, a huge creature was approaching rapidly, which was much larger than the flying broom.

After all, the first-year students had little experience and shouted excitedly, "A fire dragon!"

Someone immediately retorted, "What nonsense! That is a house, a house flying in the sky!"

When the huge black shadow came closer, everyone could see its appearance clearly after being illuminated by the lights of the castle: a huge carriage pulled by Pegasus.

It was pink-blue in color, as big as a house, and was pulled in the sky by twelve huge divine horses.

The Talisman Horse is a winged flying horse about the size of an elephant.

The flying carriage approached rapidly, swooped down and landed with a thunderous noise, stopping in front of everyone, scaring the students in the first three rows back away.

After the Pegasus landed, the carriage pulled behind also touched the ground. The huge wheels vibrated as they rolled over the ground, and the shaking head and silver mane of the golden giant horse created an extraordinary momentum.

There was a badge printed on the door of the carriage, probably the school badge of Beauxbatons, with two crossed golden wands, and three golden stars flashing on each wand.

After the door opened, a boy in a light blue robe jumped out first. He groped on the floor of the carriage to open a golden staircase, then stepped back respectfully.

A huge, shiny black high-heeled shoe the size of a child's sled protruded from the carriage, followed closely by a large woman, about the same size as Hagrid.

This woman's eyes were different from Hagrid's. They were surprisingly large, black and shiny, and she had a very pretty olive face. She was definitely much prettier than the headmistress she had seen in movies and TV shows in her previous life.

"Welcome, dear Ms. Maxime!" Dumbledore was the first to applaud, "Welcome to Hogwarts!"

The others followed suit and applauded enthusiastically.

"Dumbledore," Madam Maxime said in a very low voice, "I hope all is well with you."

"Thank you, I'm fine." Dumbledore walked towards the tall lady with an elegant smile and kissed her hand without bending over.

"My students," Miss Maxim reached back and saw more than a dozen students, both male and female, getting off the carriage. They were all shivering. They were all wearing exquisite silk robes, and no one wore a cloak.

"Is Karkaroff here?" Madam Maxime whispered to Dumbledore.

"Not yet, but he will be here any minute. Do you want to go in and warm up for a while, or wait for him here for a while?"

"Let's go in and warm up for a while. The students are wearing thin clothes." Madam Maxim asked the students to follow. "But what about my horses?"

"Don't worry, our Care of Magical Creatures professor will be happy to take care of them. He will be here in a moment, after he has dealt with this little mess."

"My horses need... it takes a lot of strength to take care of them. They are not very docile..."

Dumbledore smiled and said, "I assure you, Hagrid, the previously mentioned professor of Care of Magical Creatures, will be able to do the job."

Ms. Maxime nodded slightly, "Thank you, then please tell this Hagrid that they only drink single malt whiskey!"

"At your service," Dumbledore bowed slightly.

After the people from Beauxbatons entered the castle through the passage created by the crowd, the students began to talk about another school.

"Do you think Durmstrang's carriage would be bigger than this?"
