Dragon Clan, First Word of Power: Gojo Satoru

Chapter 52 Su An's New Tactics

Chapter 52 Su An's New Tactics

The dragon-shaped corpse guard looked down at Su An from its high position, golden light emanating from its porcelain-like eyes.

It slowly retreated, lowered its head to inhale a huge amount of seawater, and all the withered cells in its body came alive. The shriveled muscles bulged from the gaps in the bones, and the bulging blood vessels appeared under the skin.

It was restored from a mummy to its living form, yet it bore only skeletal wings and a bare tailbone, and its enormous heart could be seen beating within its open chest. Signs of both life and death appeared simultaneously on its body; the life force sealed within its bones by alchemy finally broke free, blossoming like a flower. It once again reigned supreme as a dragon, igniting a fierce fighting spirit.

"Captain..." Selma's voice trembled as she pointed at the enormous alchemical artifact.

"Truly...powerful," Mans said softly. "We can only trust Su An."

Su An looked at the giant beast in front of him without fear, kicked over the yellow jar, and stepped on it with his leather shoes.

The golden eyes of the dragon-shaped corpse guarded Su An's feet nervously, seemingly afraid for the safety of the yellow jar, and its body stiffened.

"What could be inside that warranted the entire Bronze City mobilizing? But whatever it is..."

With one hand holding a hammer, he opened the ancient tin bottle that Mans handed him. The bottle, sealed with a piece of molten tin, had lain dormant in an Egyptian tomb for thousands of years, and Kassel College had acquired it at an auction for a hefty sum.

The seller didn't understand the true value of this item, but the people at Kassel College did. They painted the entire tin bottle red, a color signifying "high risk," and carefully stored it in an "ice cellar," waiting to take it out when it was absolutely necessary.

Su An poured the liquid from the tin bottle onto the copper can at his feet. A violent corrosive effect appeared instantly. The gray liquid bubbled continuously like concentrated acid upon contact with the copper can. The liquid crawled along the patterns on the surface of the copper can, looking like small gray snakes frantically searching for gaps to crawl into the copper can.

The copper pot is hollow, and after thousands of years of preservation, it still retains a lot of air inside; otherwise, it wouldn't be so light. Now, the seal is about to be broken.

The dragon-shaped corpse guard let out a piercing scream in an instant. It pounced on the Moniah in a rage. What Suan was doing was destroying what was most important to him. It had gone completely insane.

Su An revealed a cold smile: "Taunting the enemy is a required course for warriors; only by provoking the enemy can you expose their weaknesses."

Mans looked at Su An's back with a mixture of admiration and worry. Compared to the towering Corpse Guardian, the figure pouring acid looked like a thin twig.

A surge of courage welled up in Mans' heart; they could not be a burden, but rather they should help that S-class.

"I'm not a good captain, but I can choose to be a good assistant!" Mance said softly.

"Captain! There's a signal for the bombs!" the second mate shouted excitedly, like a grieving father who had suddenly found his missing children.

Mans' body jolted, realizing something, and he strode into the cabin.

"Could it be a signal error? Weren't they... eaten by the Corpse Guardians?" The second mate, being an academic, had no idea where to start until the technical problem was solved.

"Yes, its body can block electromagnetic waves, but it opened its mouth!"

Your bombs are calling for their father in its stomach! Dragon scales may be indestructible, but a dragon's internal organs are not much tougher than a human's, and bombs can be effective!

"Destroy the Corpse Guardian!" Mans stared at the Corpse Guardian's face on the big screen and pressed the detonation button without saying a word.

A deafening explosion erupted from the mouth of the Corpse King, but it surprisingly revealed a triumphant smile.

The sound shook the entire Moniah, and then the Corpse King opened its mouth towards the Moniah.

It seemed to be holding the sun in its mouth, from which golden light emanated, scattering across the entire scarlet sea.

The sun shrank into a straight pillar of fire, like a sword made of flames shooting towards us.

The target of this flaming sword is the Moniach!

Despite its small diameter, the terrifying heat had dried up the surrounding water, making it impossible for anyone to face such intense heat directly.

If the Moniah were to suffer this attack, it would be instantly engulfed in flames, leaving not a trace.

The pillar of flame shot out at an absurd speed; the crew saw the circular shape of the flame reflected in their eyes, but no one reacted in time.

Everything happened too fast; this fiery slaughter by the Corpse Guardian is about to come to an end.

A hand gently touched my palm, as softly as stroking cotton.

The pillar of flames was suddenly stopped, a scene that defied common sense and left even the dragon-shaped corpse guardian stunned.

As a descendant of the King of Bronze and Fire, it knew very well the high temperature contained within this flame.

When one plan failed, the dragon-shaped corpse guard implemented another.

Its golden eyes narrowed, and in the next instant, the flaming sword exploded, sending fire fragments flying in all directions, along with sharp metal pieces mixed in with the explosives.

Each of these sharp shards could have killed these frail humans.

Moreover, with attacks spread out, this powerful man could no longer possibly withstand them... Had he managed to?

Its alchemical thought processes were incredibly fast; it wasn't some mindless, big, dumb creature that just fought blindly, but a cunning beast.

The fragments scattered in all directions, like a celestial maiden scattering flowers, or like a thousand pear trees in full bloom, spreading down in a splendid and beautiful display.

At that speed, no armor could stop it; people on deck and in the cabin would be killed by the shrapnel.

In that instant, Su An moved.

Su An suddenly leaped into the air, grabbed the hammer handle, and swung it upwards, causing a terrifying heartbeat to erupt from the hammer.

The secondary species' heart, parasitic on the hammer, exerted its power, pumping dragon blood in an instant, increasing the hammer's range once again!

Clang—clang—clang—

Su An unleashed a burst of muscle power in an instant, swinging the hammer three times in succession.

A strong shockwave emanated from the hammer's corner, accompanied by the sound of metal clashing.

The violently scattering metal fragments were actually repelled by the power of the hammer's words, reflecting back at an even faster speed.

The dragon-shaped corpse guard had nowhere to hide, and its body was pierced by a continuous stream of shards, the hot shards hissing as they struck the wounds.

Alchemical creations do not feel pain, but the Corpse Guardian clearly has a problem controlling his body.

The shards pierced its body, causing it to freeze momentarily.

Immediately afterwards, the tiny figure, compared to the enormous corpse guardian, opened its eyes.

It was a deep azure blue, reminiscent of a vast, boundless ocean, where undercurrents could easily take lives.

What happens when forward and reverse spells are combined?

This has always been my curiosity; curiosity, like a venomous snake, has been coiling around me, and I've pondered it day and night.

Gojo Satoru once advised me not to be greedy for quick success and rash, but to focus on mastering the techniques thoroughly.

But I insisted on studying it myself, and it seems I've figured it out. It's not perfect yet, but it's enough to kill you.

Su An extended his finger, and blue and black light intertwined within it, instantly generating a terrifying fluctuation.

"Imaginary form - Zi"
