The ground beneath my feet was covered in muddy moss, soft yet resilient, with various aquatic plants drooping their heads, listlessly waiting to be submerged by the current again.

The three of them leaped down from the broken ice and jagged rocks that were more than ten meters high, carefully passed through the forest full of red coral, and made their way towards the giant pit in the center.

The ground resembled a giant piece of green meat, gently undulating and subtly writhing. The three seemed to be moving forward, yet also felt as if they were standing still.

They quickened their pace and soon stood before the enormous cave, which was nearly thirty meters high and fifty meters wide.

The cave is flanked by a ring of blue coral reefs, and the ceiling and rock walls are covered with dense cauliflower-like creatures of various colors. Slippery mucus drips from their tentacles, extending along the green flesh on the ground all the way to the abyss.

“It’s completely different from back then. Is this really the mezzanine entrance we entered back then?” Chardo stood there, unable to move forward, looking at the monster-like rear end.

"I never expected that this kind of creature was hiding under the ice."

Charles leaned back in disgust: "All I know is that it definitely didn't keep its anus clean."

Chardo's eyelids twitched: "How did you know this was the anus?"

"intuition."

"Quiet." Alfia stopped Charles, pointing to the dark shadows undulating in the yellow slime tentacles inside his mouth:

"Look there."

As soon as he finished speaking, a flower bud resembling a giant snake emerged from the thick, yellow-green rapeseed field. The bud bloomed, revealing a flower bud full of sharp fangs.

It easily dragged a fish-man out of the cauliflower bushes, its sharp teeth tearing flesh apart. Saliva dripped down, and in an instant, a large, fat green worm with bizarre patterns squeezed out from inside the green flesh.

They gnawed on the corpses of Naga and Murlocs squeezed between the cauliflower florets, devoured magic stones, and then nonchalantly followed the ground as it crawled away, sinking into the deeper abyss.

"Eek—. Look, it's covered in parasites."

Charles took a step back, his temples throbbing: "It's like a natural ecosystem!"

"It has already learned to hatch monsters on its own? A mini dungeon?" Alfia asked in astonishment.

The group was teleported back to the distant ice pillar, gazing once more at the abyss. Two V-shaped mountain peaks stretched across either side, their two azure tentacles trembling gently, stirring up water droplets.

Looking into the distance from the base of the two tentacles, there was an endless wall of ice, the tentacles rooted in the ground, their source unknown.

"Is it a trap-type monster, like the [Bloody Hive]?" Alfia concluded.

Similar to the [Bloody Beehive] on the 24th floor where killer bees hatch, these monsters parasitize the dungeon, serving as hatching points for other monsters.

When adventurers approach, countless monsters will surge out of their lair and swarm them.

But the monster before them had clearly undergone a qualitative change.

Its enormous size, the ingenious hatching mechanism linking to the dungeon, and the mutation of fairy spirits have completely replaced the dungeon, devouring monsters from different floors while hatching its own monsters.

Having gained a general understanding of the enormous creature before them, they returned to the original cave entrance.

After exchanging a glance with Alfia, and with her immortality as the vanguard, the three of them moved forward quickly.

The cave was brighter than I had imagined, and the cauliflower-shaped tentacles glowed. Touching them caused numbness and stinging to the skin and body.

The sap also contains corrosive toxins, and it produces white smoke when it comes into contact with the skin.

Fortunately, all three possessed high resistance to abnormalities, and the simple toxicity could not hinder their progress. The only problem they encountered was the blue worms squeezing out from the green flesh at the base of the cauliflower roots.

These caterpillar-like monsters spew out highly corrosive acid, nearly corroding Alfia's weapon. Fortunately, with the protection of the fairy essence, she barely managed to resist.

No longer lingering in the fight, the three quickened their pace, following their memories, traversing the long, winding field of rapeseed flowers, breaking through a shrinking barrier of green flesh, and arriving at the large space before them.

"This is pretty much it." Alfia looked around.

Embedded within the crimson coral are shell-like creatures, and white tissues resembling insect eggs are shrinking on the red wall, as if something is about to hatch.

The scattered relics of heroes in my memory have long since disappeared.

Chardo's expression was grave: "It seems there's nothing of value left to find."

Alfia looked at Charles: "What do we do now? Which way should we go?"

Charles narrowed his eyes.

The walls of this large space were covered with many spiderweb-like tunnels, a complex structure resembling an anthill, making it difficult for them to move around.

“If you don’t have a goal, it doesn’t really matter which path you take.” Chardo slung the Black Block Sword over his shoulder, his eyes sharp. “But you need to make a decision quickly. I sense danger.”

He moved his feet gently, and the next moment, the seashells in front of him stretched out root-like veins, covering the white eggs.

A purplish-black female body emerges from an egg. Red veins connect to the woman's head, forming a hair-like substance that transmits energy.

"Hey, what's that?!" Before Chardo could react.

“Eee… Ahh ...

……

My eyelids are drooping, but my spirit is burning...

Alfia covered her forehead and began to sway.

Chardo struggled with his sword...

"Hypnosis..." Charles's mind went blank, and he collapsed to the ground the next second.

The colorful carnivorous plants that roamed around them raised their heads, bared their fangs, and flicked their tongues like snakes as they approached the three.

……

church.

"Slap!" A crisp slap landed on Charles's face, jolting him awake. He looked up and saw Lily looking worried.

"Lord Ciel, what's wrong?"

Charles realized that his spirit had returned to his physical body!

"It's okay, thank you. If I fall asleep again, remember to wake me up!" He quickly closed his eyes and focused on controlling the clone.

He unconsciously chanted an unknown incantation to improve his luck.

……

Open your eyes again.

He returned to the large void once again, where Alfia and Chardo lay on the ground, snoring loudly.

Charles covered his ears, but the singing still pierced his brain like a drill. Sleepiness washed over him again, and just as he drifted off to sleep once more, a flash of fire appeared in his eyes. The purple-skinned bewitches that had hatched from the eggs spread their arms and released scorching fireballs.

The intense heat stung his skin, jolting him awake. He grabbed the sleeping Chardo and Alfia and sprinted toward the passage behind them.

Unbeknownst to him, the fairy pearl in his backpack emitted an orange light, dispelling the last trace of drowsiness.

Only after dragging the two back to the cauliflower passage did Xia Er collapse to the ground, gasping for breath. The [Last Stand] skill triggered, repairing the damage from the burning and corrosion on her body.

The pain also awakened Alfia and Chardo, who were stunned when they saw Charles's appearance:

"What...what's wrong with us?"

But he quickly realized what had happened and a chill ran down his spine: "You saved us!"

Chapter 146 Alfia: Were we killed by Chu Jian?

Alfia and Chardo didn't doubt whether Charles had the ability to save them; rather, the fact that Charles had actually saved them made them terrified.

If it weren't for Shire, they might have already died inside the giant beast's stomach.

Even though both of them had abnormal resistance at level E, they were knocked down by that song in an instant.

Two level 7 overlords almost got killed on their first encounter without doing anything! How could they encounter a whole group of these terrifying monsters at once?

“What is that? A Siren? Or a fallen fairy?” Chardo leaned on his sword and stood up. He carefully examined his body. “Nothing is wrong. It looks like a simple lullaby.”

"If you get close to the range of that monster's song, you will be unconditionally hypnotized."

Alfia rubbed her temples. Although she had thought about dying one day, she never expected that her first real confrontation with death would be in such a frustrating situation.

Even with the abilities of "Last Stand" and "Rebirth," stepping into the heart of that deadly concert hall would plunge one into an endless dream, ultimately rotting inside the giant beast's stomach.

"Is that the Fallen Fairy clone that Belle mentioned?" Chardo looked at Charles.

They had to admit they were no match for the monsters in the hall. The song's range was a deadly 2000 meters, a distance that Chardo's slashes couldn't cover.

“I don’t think so.” Charles frowned in thought. “I seem to have heard of this kind of monster. I don’t know which floor it is, but in ancient times, the Knights of Fenana once defeated a similar monster.”

"【Warcraft Eileen】is a lord-like monster. It dwells in its lair year-round and is difficult to move. Once, a hero tied a rope around his waist and charged at that monster, but he fell halfway there in a second. In the end, he used the rope to pull them back."

"So how was it finally defeated?" Chardo asked curiously.

Charles sighed, "We were able to defeat it by taking advantage of the 'Ferocious Demon Lance's' mental resistance, which made it immune to the sleep disorder."

"Actually, given your abnormal resistance, if there were only one Eileen, she wouldn't be able to hypnotize us instantly. But the problem is that there are too many of them."

“It’s like a gut microbiota that’s specifically designed to digest us.” Chardo rubbed off the damn slime on his body.

"If only your magic were still intact, Alfia," Chardo sighed. "Is there any way to get there?"

Charles frowned, glancing at his backpack. For a fleeting moment, he seemed to have become immune to the song. He took the little rascal out of his backpack.

The hazy orange light dispelled my physical discomfort.

She hadn't been in good condition since entering the behemoth. A pained expression appeared on her sleeping face; she clenched her little hands and frowned.

'That little rascal did help me just now, but it's better not to rely on her power.'

Charles withdrew his gaze and stroked the jewel.

“We have to figure it out ourselves.” He looked at Chardo: “We can chant the spell in advance, then use Alfia’s teleportation to close the distance… and unleash the slash just before falling asleep.”

"Is this feasible?" Chardo asked Alfia.

“You should be the one being asked,” Alfia retorted, glaring back.

Preparing for magic requires mental focus. Professional mages or magic swordsmen master parallel incantations, which can prevent abnormalities during the casting process.

However, chanting one's own spell during the teleportation process without being interrupted is a great challenge for Chardo.

“I mean, I attack you, and you just deflect my strike!” Chardo scratched his face, admitting that he couldn’t chant during the deflection; the spatial fluctuations were more mentally disruptive than he had imagined.

Charles slapped his thigh: "That's right! I remember you deflected Barol's light cannon back at Alphia before! How did you do that!"

Alfia glared at Charles again: "Good luck."
