Lupin III saw through Rudeus's plan. No matter how silly and foolish Rudeus was, he was still one of the plunderers who roamed the universe.
How could one not have a backup plan and weigh the pros and cons when doing things?
Lupin III suddenly realized that he and Rudeus were actually quite similar.
Rudius, while fiddling with the cosmic orb that the crew of the Arminus had been longing for, charged toward the prison guard who had taken his MP3 player.
Meanwhile, the prison guard who had taken the Rudeus MP3 player was completely unaware of the impending danger. He was still wearing the Rudeus headphones, listening to the music, and enjoying himself with a contented expression.
Suddenly, as if sensing something, he looked up and saw Rudeus, who immediately slammed the Orb of the Universe down on his head.
"If we don't leave now, we'll be blasted to smithereens."
"That's what Rocket Raccoon said on the Arminus."
【"no."】
"We must not leave until we have the Sphere of the Universe."
Alice immediately rejected Rocket Raccoon's proposal; the Cosmic Orb meant much more to her than just a large sum of money.
"Look!"
Drax, sitting by the window, suddenly noticed a small black dot flying out of Klin Prison.
After retrieving his MP3 player and headphones, Rudius flew directly out of the Klin Prison and approached the Arminus.
"You certainly have guts. You'll be a valuable asset in the fight against Ronan."
Rudeus flew back to the Arminus, while Iris and Drax picked him up at the dedicated entrance to the spaceship.
Drax praised Rudeus, thinking it impressive that Rudeus had single-handedly reclaimed what was his.
"Friend, what did you get back?"
Drax was curious about what it was that had sent Rudyus charging in alone; it must be something very valuable.
Rudeus didn't answer Drax's question. Instead, he took out an MP3 player from his pocket and handed it to Drax, who accepted it with a puzzled expression.
"What an idiot."
Drax, looking at the MP3 player in his hand, immediately changed his tune.
"What a stark contrast!"
As Itsuki Hashima watched Drax on the light screen, from initially praising Rudeus to changing his tune after seeing the MP3 in his hand, she felt a strong contrast.
"what do you think?"
Fuwa Shunto asked.
"How about what?"
"What else could it be? Character design. Do you think it would be easier to write if Rudeus and the others' character designs were adjusted?"
"Um……"
Hashima Itsuki pondered Fuwa Haruto's question and came up with an answer in less than a minute.
"It's easy to write, but it depends on how you write it. And you're already thinking of borrowing character designs before the story is even finished?"
"Itsuki Hashima looked at Haruto Fuwa and said."
"Well, there's no harm in thinking about it a little more."
"That makes sense, so you're going to write it?"
"I won't write it."
The spaceship naturally doesn't require real-time human control; once the target location is entered, it can go about its business.
Rudius wanted to check what everyone else was doing, lest they dismantle his own spaceship.
Rudyus chose to go see Rocket Raccoon first, and Drax was sitting right next to Rocket Raccoon.
What Rocket Raccoon did terrified Rudius.
"Ranger Rick, what are you doing?"
"You dismantled my spaceship here without my permission."
Rudius looked at Rocket Raccoon and asked.
【"What's this?"】
Rudius looked curiously at a part on the ground and asked a question, then bent down to pick it up and examine it.
"Don't touch that."
"That's a bomb."
[Rocket Raccoon spoke.]
【"bomb?!"】
【"right."】
"You're just going to leave the bomb like this?!"
Rudeus looked at Rocket Raccoon and asked, his expression utterly indescribable.
"I was originally planning to find a box to put it in."
["Will putting it in the box help?"]
"How about this one?"
Rocket Raccoon picked up a box and asked.
【"no."】
"Don't touch it!"
Rudius refused outright.
"That thing, if I remember correctly, was a gift from Rudeus's mother to Rudeus."
"It seems that Rudius has never opened it."
Kaito Kuroba recognized the box that Rocket Raccoon picked up as a gift that Rudeus's mother had given him before she fell critically ill.
It seems Rudius has been kept safe and sound by his side all along.
【"Why?"】
【"What's this?"】
【"Shut up."】
Rocket Raccoon didn't press further, as it would be impolite to ask again, but then Rudius started asking questions again.
"What is that?"
"This is for use in a last resort crisis."
"Or you can use it when you want to bomb a satellite."
[Rocket Raccoon spoke.]
"I won't let you blow up the satellite."
Rudius said.
"You've killed all the fun."
[Rocket Raccoon looked at Rudius and said.]
"I need you to contact the buyer's location."
Rudeus said to Alice.
"For the time being, our course of navigation is fine."
Rudius was dissatisfied with Iris's answer, saying that such a vague response lacked sincerity and felt like she was about to betray them halfway through.
"If you really want to work together, at least try to trust me a little more."
"Really? How much do you trust me?"
[After hearing Rudeus's question, Alice countered with her own question.]
528: The Head of the Celestials
"Given their status, it would be quite difficult for them to build trust with each other."
"Two bounty hunters, one a cosmic thief and raider, one Thanos's adopted daughter, one of Ronan's henchmen, and one who has a mortal feud with Ronan."
"They are now together entirely because of their shared interests."
"I don't know what would happen between them to develop a tacit understanding and trust."
Hachiman Hikigaya, seeing that Rudeus and Alice were about to start arguing over a matter of trust, said...
"It's like the Avengers back then, except the conflicts between the Avengers weren't as big yet."
"The Avengers were united because of West's death, so if they were united, could it also be because of someone? No, that won't do."
