This was Rudeus's first time entering a prison the size of a small box. Only after officially entering the prison did Rudeus realize its sheer size.

[The city is teeming with all sorts of creatures, and to accommodate enough prisoners, thousands upon thousands of cells have been built, all constructed in the style of a multi-cell nest.]

[Furthermore, there's no distinction between males and females here; they're all treated the same.]

Just as Rudius was looking around, a soda can flew over and hit him on the head.

Rudius looked in the direction the can had come from and saw several prisoners on the second level of the prison shouting at him.

"You're dead."

"You're dead."

【"murderer."】

"I'll kill you first, Alice, you're dead."

Rudius also knew that the group wasn't trying to attack him, but rather Alice, who was standing next to him; he had simply been shot accidentally.

Meanwhile, all the prisoners in the jail began hurling insults at Alice, but she seemed not to hear them.

[This is the first time Rudius has ever seen anyone receive such treatment in prison.]

[You should know that he wasn't in one of those planetary prisons that only holds prisoners for a week or less; this place held criminals from all over the universe.]

[And this red-haired beauty was able to get 90% of the people in the prison to attack her—something Rudeus couldn't even imagine. As for the remaining 10%, those were prison guards and other inmates who hadn't been released yet.]

"This Alice, she's got quite a reputation."

Yuu Otosaka said, looking at Alice being attacked by the crowd of criminals within the light screen.

"It's probably a really bad reputation, no, or rather, a notorious one."

“The criminals in this prison aren’t good people either, and they all started cursing and even saying it was inhumane. What do you think Alice did?”

Nao Tomori looked at Yuu Otosaka and said.

"As Ronan's assistant, I guess the only thing he did was invade Xandar."

Yuu Otosaka recalled the medical examination conducted on Alice before she was imprisoned and said.

"That's only part of it. I feel that it's more because Alice is the adopted daughter of the Mad Titan Thanos."

"Although we don't know exactly what Alice did, it must have been something far worse than invading Xandar."

"Of course, it could also be because of other things."

"Ha, I told you, this guy has a big reputation."

Compared to Rudeus's shocked expression, Rocket Raccoon wasn't too surprised to see Iris being surrounded.

"Many prisoners have relatives here, but they all died at the hands of Ronan and his henchmen."

"I bet she can only last one more day."

As Rocket Raccoon walked towards his cell, he spoke as if he could already see Alice being dismembered by a group of prisoners.

"Will the guards protect her?"

After hearing Rocket Raccoon's words, Rudius thought of the guards.

"The guards here don't care if you live or die."

"All they care about is preventing us from escaping."

"You can do whatever you want in there and they won't care."

Rocket Raccoon explained to Rudius the working style and principles of the prison guards here.

"No matter what storms the future may bring, they are all child's play compared to my experience."

Rudeus turned to look at Alice as she drove. Rudeus sensed that Alice's words were arrogant and confident.

Rudeus turned around and saw a huge, blue alien blocking his way. Rudeus instinctively assumed it was there to cause him trouble.

But Rudius suddenly thought of Alice behind him, and wondered if they had come to cause trouble for her.

The next second, the blue alien reached out and pressed him down.

"Look at this new hunk, I'm going to cover you in Gunaveon liquid and then have some real fun."

As the large blue man spoke, Groot stepped up from behind, stretched out his hand, and two fingers suddenly grew out, aiming to shove them into the large blue man's nostrils.

Then Groot picked the big blue guy's nose and lifted him up.

【"Ah ah ah ah ah!"】

The large blue creature whose nose was being picked also let out a painful howl.

As Kiyotaka Ayanokoji watched the scene on the light screen where Groot, the tree spirit, stood up for Rudeus, he felt that it must be something extraordinary.

Groot, the tree spirit, was definitely not standing up for Rudeus out of kindness, after all, the two of them had only met a handful of times, and the times they did meet were always against each other.

"To establish authority?"

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji thought of Rocket Raccoon, Groot's partner. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji could tell that the two of them were led by Rocket Raccoon.

The entire arena fell silent when Groot, the tree-like creature, appeared in his sheer blue robes. Rocket Raccoon seized the opportunity to step forward and speak loudly.

"Let's make things clear first."

"This kid's chrysanthemums are ours."

Rocket Raccoon pointed at Rudeus and said something that left Rudeus completely stunned.

"Think it through, then you'll have to get past us first."

"Or to be more precise, we took care of you first."

Fortunately, Rocket Raccoon's subsequent words dispelled Rudeus's concerns. Rudeus also remembered that the raccoon and the tree had initially come to him, apparently for his bounty.

After Rocket Raccoon finished speaking, Groot slammed the blue giant to the ground, leaving the entire arena speechless with shock from the combined impact of Rocket Raccoon and Groot.

The big blue guy lying on the ground was also covering his nose, whimpering and sobbing softly. It wasn't that he was weak, but rather that Groot's attacks were too insidious; he felt like his nasal congestion had been completely punctured.

"Groot and Rocket Raccoon also stepped over that guy," Rudeus said slowly, glancing around at the people around him.

"I belong to them."

After Rudeus finished speaking, he followed them. Being taken away and sold was better than losing his virginity in prison. Besides, Rudeus was certain that Yondu was the one who put the bounty on him.

Compared to Rudeus, who has Rocket Raccoon protecting him, Iris has no one to shield her, since Rocket Raccoon wouldn't bother with her.

After all, if Alice hadn't gotten in the way, Rocket Raccoon felt he would have already earned his bounty long ago.

"Even the sturdiest cell can't protect you."

"I'll get rid of you sooner or later."

[Alice, ignoring the insults from a large group of prisoners, walked into her cell as if nothing had happened and closed the door.]

"You're dead."

[A prisoner leaned against the glass of Alice's cell and said menacingly.]

523: The wise Drax, the foolish Rudeus

"They're doomed."

The man yelled at Alice in the cell, gesturing with his hand across his own neck as if to tell her he was going to slit her throat himself.

Alice never turned to look at them once. The prisoners outside her cell were cursing and swearing, but after realizing she ignored them, they dispersed.

After the prisoners dispersed, through the glass of Alice's cell door, one could see a prisoner sitting in the prison hall on the first floor, staring intently at Alice's cell.

Unlike the other prisoners, who reacted violently when Alice first entered the prison, this inmate neither rushed to her and hurled insults at her, nor threw anything at her. He simply sat there quietly, watching her.

[From his clenched fists and hateful eyes, it was clear that he also harbored a grudge against Alice. As for why he didn't verbally abuse her...]

[Because he believed that a dog that bites doesn't bark, and a dog that barks doesn't bite; as for why he compared himself to a dog, he himself didn't know.]

"Don't tell me that the Guardians of the Galaxy are made up of Rudeus, Iris, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, and that prisoner who's been staring at Iris the whole time."

Kitahara Iori looked at the contents of the light screen, feeling both doubt and disbelief.

"Why do you think so?"

Kohei Imamura looked at Iori Kitahara and said, "You should know that the light screen hasn't released any information about the formation of the Guardians of the Galaxy yet."

"Insights gained from reading comics."

Kitahara Iori covered his face with one hand, revealing only one eye, and looked at Imamura Kohei with a self-satisfied expression.

Are you trying to cover up something ugly?

Kohei Imamura has read just as many manga as Iori Kitahara, so he naturally knows about the experience Kitahara Iori shared, as well as Kitahara Iori's pretentious mannerisms.

"However, based on your experience of reading comics, it is indeed possible."

Kohei Imamura said that in the very beginning, probably no one would have applied so many tropes from comics, novels, and movies to the content on the screen.

However, as the light screen continued to project, people gradually discovered that art truly originates from life, and some formulas and theorems can indeed be applied.

Therefore, Kohei Imamura also felt that what Iori Kitahara said was not impossible.

As night fell and it was time for bed, Rudeus experienced an unprecedented torment. He felt that if he were to fall asleep, it would only be because he was so incredibly tired he couldn't control himself.
